MULTICRACKER® MC600 – High-performance grinding machine for industrial applications

The MULTICRACKER® MC600 is the largest and most powerful grinding machine in our product range and is designed for industrial applications with very high throughput requirements. With a throughput of up to 48 tons per hour, the MC600 combines maximum production output with the typical advantages of the MULTICRACKER® wedge disc principle: energy-efficient and gentle grinding, homogeneous ground material, and a compact design for this performance class.

The MC600 is used particularly in large feed mills, in the industrial processing of agricultural raw materials, and in the process industry.

Maximum performance for large industrial production processes

With two drives of 30 kW each, the MC600 achieves throughput rates of up to 48 t/h, depending on the raw material and the desired degree of grinding. It is therefore designed for large production plants where very high quantities of material must be processed continuously and reliably.

Typical raw materials include corn, wheat, high-moisture corn, soybeans, rapeseed, and compound feed. By selecting suitable cracker disc profiles and adjusting the grinding gap, the machine can be adapted to different raw materials and desired grinding results.

Long service life and easy maintenance

The profiled cracker discs of the MC600 can be resharpened up to eight times and then reused. Especially with the high throughput rates of the MC600, this allows for a particularly long service life of the grinding tools. The reduced use of materials conserves resources and at the same time contributes to low wear costs over the entire operating life of the machine.

The service concept is also designed for high plant availability. The complete cracker unit can be changed quickly and easily. While the operator continues production with a replacement unit, the removed cracker unit is professionally maintained at MAKOBA and the cracker discs are resharpened or replaced as needed.

After servicing, the overhauled unit is available again for the next changeover. This makes maintenance work predictable and reduces production-related downtime.

For different raw materials and grinding tasks, the proven cracker disc profiles coarse, medium and fine are available, as well as specially adapted grinding profiles if required.

Tailored to your grinding task

The MC600 features a motorized, stepless grinding gap adjustment as standard. This allows the grinding result to be specifically tailored to the respective raw material and the desired final grain size. In combination with different cracker disc profiles, the machine can be configured for a wide range of industrial grinding tasks.

For special requirements, the MC600 is optionally available with a heavy parts separator. If multi-stage grinding is required for a process, the MC600 can also be used as a TWIN version with two coordinated grinding stages.
