MULTICRACKER® MC-A4 – Compact grinding machine for small throughputs

The MULTICRACKER® MC-A4 is the smallest model in our product range and is specially developed for applications with low throughput requirements. With a capacity of up to 4 tons per hour, the MC-A4 brings the typical advantages of the MULTICRACKER® wedge disc principle into a particularly compact machine: energy-efficient and gentle grinding, as well as a homogeneous ground material.

This makes the MC-A4 particularly suitable for smaller feed mills, agricultural businesses with their own feed production, and other applications where manageable material quantities need to be ground economically and reliably. The machine weighs only around 140 kg and is offered as standard with a 4 kW drive.

Efficient grinding for low throughput requirements

With its compact design, the MC-A4 enables the use of MULTICRACKER® technology even where large production capacities are not required. The standard 4 kW drive and compact design allow for economical integration even with limited space.

The grinding gap can be manually and continuously adjusted. Together with the appropriate cracker disc profile, the grinding result can be precisely matched to the raw material and desired final particle size.

Easy cracker set replacement

The MC-A4 is based on the compact design of the MC-A series. For maintenance or changing the grinding tools, no complete cracker unit needs to be removed. Instead, the user can quickly and easily replace the cracker set, consisting of the two cracker shafts, themselves.

The design is such that no special lifting devices are required, and after replacement, no complex machine adjustments or subsequent service by MAKOBA are necessary. This simplifies maintenance and enables uncomplicated replacement of wear parts directly by the operator.

The cracker discs of this series are not resharpenable. For different raw materials and grinding tasks, the proven cracker disc profiles coarse, medium, and fine are available. Additionally, we supply specially adapted grinding profiles for special applications if required.

Tailored to your grinding task

Even in its standard version, the MC-A4 features a continuously adjustable grinding gap and foreign body protection through spring technology. Optionally, a more powerful 5.5 kW motor, a motorized grinding gap adjustment, a base frame, and a magnetic separator are available.

If a process requires multi-stage grinding, the MC-A4 can also be used as a TWIN arrangement with two coordinated grinding stages.

This allows the compact machine to be precisely adapted to different operating conditions and production requirements.
