MULTICRACKER® MC15 – Compact Grinding Machine with High Performance

The MULTICRACKER® MC15 combines a compact machine design with a throughput capacity of up to 12 tons per hour. Two 7.5 kW drives and a suitably designed cracker unit enable high grinding performance with a comparatively small footprint.

This makes the MC15 particularly suitable for automated production facilities that require higher capacity while also valuing a compact and enclosed machine design. Like all MULTICRACKER® machines, it utilizes the advantages of the wedge disc principle for energy-efficient, gentle, and homogeneous grinding.

High Performance with Compact Design

With two drives of 7.5 kW each, the MC15 achieves throughputs of up to 12 t/h – depending on the raw material and desired grinding degree. Despite this performance, the machine remains compact and can be integrated into both new and existing production facilities.

The larger number of cracker discs compared to the MC11, as well as larger inlet and outlet cross-sections, create the additional throughput potential. On the product page itself, I would mention this constructive relationship without making a direct model comparison.

The grinding gap can be manually and continuously adjusted as standard and controlled via a digital display.

Dust-Tight Cracker Unit and Easy Service

The grinding mechanism of the MC15 is also located in a dust-tight cracker unit. This ensures that the product is guided in an enclosed manner during grinding.

For maintenance work, the complete cracker unit can be changed quickly and easily. While the operator continues production with a replacement unit, the removed unit can be professionally serviced at MAKOBA and equipped with new cracker discs if required. After service, the refurbished unit is ready for the next change.

The cracker discs of the MC15 are not resharpenable. For different raw materials and grinding tasks, the proven cracker disc profiles coarse, medium, and fine are available.

Tailored to your grinding task

The MC15 features a manual, continuous grinding gap adjustment as standard. Optionally, the machine can be equipped with a motorized, continuous grinding gap adjustment, allowing for convenient integration into automated production processes.

Further corresponding equipment options are available for special operating conditions. The generously dimensioned inlet and outlet cross-sections support the machine configuration designed for higher throughput capacities.
