MULTICRACKER® MC-A8 – Compact Performance for Versatile Applications

The MULTICRACKER® MC-A8 combines a particularly compact design with a throughput capacity of up to 8 tons per hour. This makes the machine suitable for users who require a high-performance grinding system with limited installation space and low power requirements. The MC-A8 utilizes the typical advantages of the MULTICRACKER® wedge disc principle for energy-efficient, gentle, and homogeneous grinding.

Typical applications are found in smaller feed mills, agricultural operations, and feed manufacturers, as well as in other production processes with corresponding throughput requirements.

Compact and Powerful

With a standard 7.5 kW drive, the MC-A8 achieves throughput capacities of up to 8 t/h – depending on the raw material and desired degree of grinding. Despite this performance, the machine requires minimal installation space and is therefore particularly suitable for compact production facilities.

The grinding gap can be adjusted manually and continuously. Together with the appropriate cracker disc profile, the grinding result can be precisely tailored to different raw materials and requirements.

Easy cracker set replacement

The compact design of the MC-A series enables a particularly simple maintenance concept. The cracker set consisting of both cracker shafts can be replaced by the user without requiring subsequent complex adjustments to the machine or a service visit by MAKOBA.

This allows the grinding tools to be replaced quickly and easily directly at the operator’s facility. The cracker discs used are not resharpenable and are replaced when the wear limit is reached.

For different raw materials and grinding tasks, the proven cracker disc profiles coarse, medium, and fine are available.

Tailored to your grinding task

The MC-A8 comes standard with a manually and continuously adjustable grinding gap as well as foreign object protection through spring technology. Optional features include an 11 kW drive, motorized grinding gap adjustment, a base frame, a magnetic separator, and appropriate motor designs for special operating conditions.

For processes requiring multi-stage grinding, the MC-A8 can also be used in a TWIN arrangement with two coordinated grinding stages.

Thus, the MC-A8 combines a compact basic design with diverse options for adaptation to the respective grinding task.
